ScouseAir is a personal travel blog and place-rating website. It focuses on towns, cities, and villages, with short text and voice-note reviews. Others are welcome to join, share tips, and leave their own ratings — but the site is run as a personal project. By using ScouseAir you agree to these rules.

1) What ScouseAir Is (and isn’t)

• A voice-first travel & places space for sharing experiences and ratings.
• Not an official tourism board, news outlet, or booking service.
• Opinions are those of the users who post them, not ScouseAir.

2) Using the Site

• 🎙️ Post Quick Takes (voice notes) or text about places you’ve visited.
• 🏷️ Tag posts with the relevant town/city/region and topic (food, museums, nightlife, hikes, etc.).
• 👥 Host or join Travel Parties — live planning chats with invited members.
• 🔎 Use search to find places, regions, and tags.
• 🧼 Flag content that breaks the rules; moderators may review and act.

3) Community Standards

• ❌ No hate speech, bullying, harassment, or threats.
• 🗣️ Keep it constructive. Disagree with ideas, not people.
• 🔞 Use 18+ / trigger warnings for adult or potentially distressing content.
• 🛡️ Users may block others to stop direct interactions.

4) Content & Moderation

• Your posts (voice, text, images) remain yours. You grant ScouseAir a limited licence to host and display them on the site and related features (e.g., trending areas).
• You can delete your posts and comments. Removals may persist in backups for a limited period.
• We may hide, limit, or remove content that breaks these rules or the law.
• Repeated or severe violations can result in account suspension.

5) Privacy & Data

• Voice notes and transcripts are public by default unless you choose otherwise in features that support privacy.
• Basic analytics may be used to improve performance and safety. We don’t sell your personal data.
• When you report/flag content, details may be shared with moderators to resolve the issue.

6) Images, Safety & Legality

• Profile images and uploads may be screened automatically for safety.
• No illegal guidance (e.g., trespassing, vandalism, unsafe access tips) and no doxxing (sharing private addresses/identities).
• Disclose if a post is gifted/sponsored (e.g., comped stays, press trips).

7) Travel Parties & Access

• Travel Parties are group voice spaces hosted by users. Hosts may approve requests and remove members who break rules.
• Only approved members can post in party threads where approval is required.
• Non-members can usually listen/read unless a party is marked private by the host.

8) Age & Sensitive Topics

• You must be 13+ to use ScouseAir (or the minimum age in your country).
• Use the 18+ / trigger warning option for adult or potentially distressing content.

9) Complaints & Takedowns

• If you think content breaks the rules or your rights, flag it or email cultchat1@gmail.com with details and links.
• We aim to review serious reports promptly and will let you know if action is taken where appropriate.

10) Changes to these Terms

We may update these rules as ScouseAir evolves. We’ll post the latest version on this page with the updated date.
